2. What SensorChaos is
SensorChaos is a developer tool that simulates GPS and sensor failure scenarios against mobile applications for testing purposes. It consists of a CLI, Android and iOS agent libraries, and pre-built scenario files. It is sold as a subscription to individual developers and teams.
3. License
Subject to these terms and a valid subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SensorChaos for your own internal development and testing. Permitted uses include integration into CI pipelines and use within a single development team. The number of seats is defined by your plan (Indie: 1 developer; Team: up to 10 developers).
You may not: redistribute or resell SensorChaos or your license key; use it to provide a competing service; share your license key outside the permitted seat count; or use it to test applications you do not own or have permission to test.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. All prices are in EUR and inclusive of all applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Free trial
A 14-day trial key is available once per email address, without a credit card. Trial keys are for evaluation only and may not be used in production CI pipelines.
6. Refunds
Given the nature of software tools and the availability of a free trial, we do not offer refunds for subscription payments. If you experience a technical issue that prevents normal use, contact us and we will work to resolve it or issue a credit at our discretion.
7. Acceptable use
SensorChaos is a testing tool. You must only use it against devices and applications you own or are authorised to test. Using it to disrupt live production systems, to interfere with third parties, or for any unlawful purpose is strictly prohibited.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep the license API available but do not guarantee uptime. The CLI and agent libraries are distributed as binaries and source; their operation on your devices is not subject to an SLA. Support is provided on a best-effort basis via email.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vivicy OÜ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SensorChaos. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice to active subscribers by email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
